Communicating Effectively, Eroticism, Better Writing & Art Forgery

Happy Thursday !

A day late this week, but it's been a busy one. Here are some things I've been checking out and working on the last couple weeks:

Blog Post I Wrote: How to Communicate Effectively

Two techniques I use that have stood the test of time and helped me communicate better. One is from Techstars; the other is from the Coast Guard.

Articles I'm Reading:

How to Write Good - ReferralCandy - this slideshow is a great reminder on how to write well, with a great example.

How to spot a perfect fake: the world's top art forgery detective - The Guardian - Fascinating look at how Sotheby's detects forgeries.

How the Earliest Images of the Moon Were so Much Better than we Realised - World of Indie - early images of the moon were downgraded for security reasons when released. The full-quality photos are stunning.

Book I'm Reading: Mating in Captivity - Esther Perel

Esther Perel is a psychotherapist specializing in sexuality and relationship health, and her book explores eroticism, long-term love and monogamy, among other things. A good place to get introduced to her is her two podcasts with Tim Ferriss.

Product I'm Using: Hemingway App

This free online app helps you improve your writing. I've been using it to edit my writing, and it's awesome. The reference to Hemingway is helping make your writing "bold and clear". Highly recommend it.

Have a great week!

Graham
