Reading Better, Real Wealth, Paris in 1890, Cars & Getting Fit

Happy Wednesday !

I hope you're having a great week! Here are some things I've been checking out and working on the last week:

Articles I'm Reading:

Most Personality Quizzes Are Junk Science. Take One That Isn’t. - FiveThirtyEight - Coincidentally following my Complete Guide to Personality Tests blog article last week, FiveThirtyEight published their own version of the Big Five test, with some nicer visualization.

A Helpful Guide to Reading Better - Farnam Street - I spent a lot of time this week reading about reading; specifically, how to structure my reading for better retention. This article (along with those linked inside it) is probably the best one I read.

Real Wealth - Brent Beashore/James Clear - Enjoyed this thread - particularly the distinctions and quotes added by Brent - on a topic I'm constantly thinking about (related: blog article I wrote on Positive Constraints).

How to Get Fit - Mikael Cho - Also thought this tweet from Mikael Cho (Unsplash) on getting fit was spot-on.

What I'm Watching: Edited Film From Paris in the 1890s

This film from Paris in the 1890s was remastered (re-edited, sound effects added), and as a result, it seems much closer to some of our cities today. Very cool.

What I'm Also Watching: The Grand Tour - Amazon Prime Video

If anyone is a car fan, the new version of Top Gear on Amazon Prime is back for their third season - it's looking like the best one yet. Available on Amazon Prime Video.

Have a great week!

Graham
