Chester Race Week, More Tesla & Zero Waste Cafés
Happy Wednesday !
I hope you're having a great week. Here are some things I've been checking out and working on the last week:
What I'm Working on This Week: Chester Race Week
Every summer I take a few days off to do Chester Race Week, a big sailing regatta near where I grew up in Nova Scotia. The last few years we've been hired to do some drone video highlights, so now I split time between video stuff and sailing. You can see the final video from last year here, and follow along this year on the Chester Race Week Facebook page.
Articles I'm Reading:
Update on Taking Tesla Private - Elon Musk: Last week the big news was Elon discussing why he would take Tesla private. This week he revealed a bit more, and it's not as nice - basically the investors he was referring to is Saudi oil money.
What's Driving Elon Musk? - Wired: Wired published an article this week filled with quotes from family, friends and colleagues focused on Elon, which is very interesting.
If Great Scientists Had Logos: I'm constantly interested by design and branding, and this graphic is very cool.
Project I'm Supporting: The Tare Shop
I'm very interested in living a lifestyle that minimizes garbage, and my friend Kate is someone I follow to learn more. She's opening up a zero-waste cafe in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and is crowdfunding some of it. Please go support it if you can - every little bit helps!
Have a great week!
Graham
