Book Notes: Principles - Ray Dalio
Finally got my notes up for this book. I read it several months ago, but I've been slowly working my way back through all the highlights I took. Very dense book, packed with info, but very actionable and useful. Read Part 1 and 2 and then skip Part 3 as you like.
Articles I'm Reading:
- the 4 kinds of side businesses you can start - Justin Mares - I'm always fascinated by passive income businesses (despite not having built one yet), and they're what got me interested in entrepreneurship via the 4-Hour Workweek. Good overview here.
- Sleep duration and mortality - Does weekend sleep matter? - A relatively recent study that suggests too little AND too much sleep could be bad for you, but that it may be possible that sleeping long on weekends and less during the weekdays is fine.
Product I'm Using:Glasses from Clearly.ca
I got glasses last week, after a long period of denial ruined by testing a friend's glasses for a minute. Full disclosure, Clearly sent me a free pair, but it was extremely easy to order, they arrived in 4 days, and their prices are hard to beat.
