Extreme Ownership, Careers, and Timing
Happy Wednesday !
I hope you're having a great week. Here are some things I've been checking out and working on:
Blog Post: Extreme Ownership: Taking Responsibility to Improve
This post is about the connection between the concept of Extreme Ownership and self-justification, and how you can use Extreme Ownership to be more objective when taking responsibility, and as a result, improve faster.
Articles:
How to Pick a Career (That Actually Fits You) - The latest post from Wait but Why, on a very important topic
My 9.7 iPad (2018) review: Drawn, written, edited, and produced with an iPad - I write a lot, and this product could be what finally replaces paper for me
The rise and demise of the AAirpass, American Airlines’ $250k lifetime ticket - Fascinating story, particularly when you start imagining what you could do with unlimited air travel...
Webflow - these days I prefer Squarespace for starting a website quickly, but for those more technically inclined, this seems like a cool alternative.
Book: When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing - Daniel Pink
Extremely interesting. The book takes a look at all the science behind how timing can affect us, and gives actionable tips on how to make the most of timing (it includes napping!). Hope to have notes up next week.
Have a great week!
Graham
