Secret Military Bases, Private Jets, SEO and Alzheimer's
I hope you enjoyed the weekend! Here are some things I've been checking out and working on the last couple weeks:
Blog Post:Behind the Scenes NYC Interview
An interview I did a little while back was published today, highlighting some of my favourite places to eat, shop, and things to do in NYC. "New York-based" is a bit of a stretch, but hopefully you'll enjoy the recommendations.
Articles:
- Strava users in the military accidentally outlined some secret bases
- BMW did some crazy mid-drift refueling in their pursuit of the drifting record (Video)
- This article about being early to market resonated a lot with those of us at Lean Systems
- How private jets get sold - surprisingly interesting
- Nat Eliason published his 1-hour guide to SEO on YouTube
- Researchers are starting to establish a link between sugar and Alzheimer's
Book:Scar Tissue - Anthony Kiedis & Larry Sloman
This is the memoir of Anthony Kiedis, lead singer of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and it is hard to put down. Dark, frustrating, and entertaining, however, it reminded me a big of Andre Agassi's Open.
Favourite Photo This Week: Winter Surfing
Winter is surf season in Nova Scotia, and I've been trying to find time to improve. Caught my friend Gavin waiting for waves in some evening light. It appears warm, but looks can be deceiving: water temp was about 5C = 41F, and air temp was around -5C = 23F.
Have a great week!
Graham
