Thinking, Managing, Money & The Future of Bike Racing

ByGraham Mann

As the weather has been improving here in Montreal, I've been getting out for some longer bike rides with friends.

Cycling and golf are both activities that give you a lot of free time with other people.

Assuming you aren't working too hard, and the road surface is good, you can chat for a whole bike ride.

The same applies to golf: except for the time spent making shots, you can chat while walking around the course.

It's been said that friends are made by "wasting time" with others.

In some ways, I think that's true: friends are the people you choose to be around regardless of the context.

But even with friends, we often feel compelled to do something, or to make the most of our time when we see them.

That's great, but it often doesn't give us the space we need to have longer, deeper conversations.

Activities like cycling, golf, even just going for a walk—they're all ways to make that space.

Have a great week.

🍷 Kally - I've linked Kin Euphorics before, but the rise of non-alcoholic drink alternatives continues. I haven't personally tried this one, but I do love the branding and mission.
