Links
📚 Book Notes: Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson - I added my notes for Snow Crash, which are worth reading just for the description of the Metaverse. Still hard to believe it was written in 1992.
📖 Climbing the wrong hill - Chris Dixon - A piece about why many of us choose not to move towards the career we think is ideal (and why we should).
📖 The Best Inventions of 2021 - Time - A list of the top inventions of the year, in all kinds of different categories, from Accessibility to Artificial Intelligence.
📖 DAOs, A Canon - a16z - One of the top venture capital firms in the world, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) has curated a list of reads about DAOs (decentralized autonomous organizations), the latest big focus in the crypto world. They also have a curated list for NFTs and for Crypto, which I plan to work my way through as well.
📖 Paul Singer, Doomsday Investor - The New Yorker - Very interesting profile of one of the largest activist investors in the world, and particularly his battle with Jonathan Bush, cousin of George W., and founder of Athenahealth, a large health services company in the US.
