Cartels, Grief, Paris's Secret & Growing Up

Happy Thursday !

I hope you're having a great week! My apologies for being a day late - it's just been a busy week.

Here are some things I've been checking out and working on the last week:

Book Notes I Added: "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!" - Richard Feynman

I've been telling stories from this book several times in the last week, which speaks to how memorable and fun the book is to read. Richard Feynman is considered one of the greatest physicists of the 20th century, and he was known for his pranks and general humor as well. The book is an autobiography of sorts, and is very entertaining.

Articles I'm Reading:

What You'll Wish You'd Known - Paul Graham - A classic essay from Paul Graham aimed at high school graduates, it's a good reminder for anyone about to start another year of college as well.

Arming the Cartels: The Inside Story of a Texas Gun-Smuggling Ring - Rolling Stone - A look at how guns are moving from the US to Mexico, and how the power of the weapons is growing (in this case home-made Gatling-like guns).

Ariana Grande on Grief and Growing Up - Vogue - I don't follow pop culture much, but few celebrities have recently gone through as many traumatic events as Ariana Grande (concert suicide bomber, Mac Miller's death). It's a tough age for anyone to go through something difficult, and this story explores how she's been coping.

The Invisible City Beneath Paris - The New Yorker - A bit scary, but this story also sparks your imagination; the author goes exploring Paris's secret underground.

Product I Love: Saltwreck Prints (Giveaway)

My friends over at Saltwreck are doing a giveaway to celebrate their new collaboration print with East Coast Lifestyle. You can enter here.

Have a great week!

Graham
