Scaling Yourself

Scaling Yourself

There are only so many hours in the day. And there is only so much you can do.

You can only hold so many meetings. You can only figure out so many problems on your own.

The secret to scaling yourself is to figure out a system.

A system is what allows a corporation to do far more than a single individual.

It’s what allows YouTube creators to speak to hundreds of millions of people in a year.

It’s what allows movie stars to perform for millions of viewers.

And it’s what allows software engineers to change the lives of billions of people.

You don’t have to create videos, or movies, or software to build a system.

You can automate things using Zapier.

You can write online, or Tweet, or hire someone, or document a process.

You can do a screen recording to teach someone how to do something.

You can make a checklist that others can complete.

To scale yourself, build a system.
