Convincing Others

Convincing Others

The holidays are a time when we get together with family and friends and share time together.

They often bring together people with different views than our own.

Sometimes, we convince them of something new. We explain a belief and our reasoning, and it resonates.

If we do manage to influence them, it’s only because they respect us, like us, or trust us first.

This is the only way of convincing anyone.

In a world that is increasingly polarized and partisan, it’s worth remembering that the trust and liking comes first.
