Conflict

Conflict

We’re all bad at conflict.

Some of us might think we’re good, but it likely means we fall at one of the extremes.

Winning often means hurting feelings.

Conceding often puts our needs aside.

The truth is that conflict is messy.

There are times we should fight for things, and times we should back down.

We aren't always right.

The hard part is that these are hard to think about in the middle of a conflict.

Conflict is a struggle between heated emotions, quick thinking, and our natural response to stand by our initial position.

That kind of struggle will always go wrong.

But it’s worth struggling.

If conflict is easy, you’re doing it wrong.
